Review

It’s my first purchase from Imam Carpets and I’m happy that I found a very reputable and genuine place to shop online without a fear of being cheated in terms of quality.

The Story Behind the Baluchi Tribal Hand Knotted Rug

The prayer rug is one of the forms Baluch weavers return to most: an arched niche, the mihrab, that points toward Mecca, often filled with a tree of life. This piece doubles it, with two niches stacked one above the other, each holding a branching tree in ivory and navy, inside a frame of small figures and bands. The wool is coloured with natural dyes.
